Ah, Lightning Bolts Hurty. I remember long debates over the design of this comic. The problem was the flow of the panels, because of the tall first panel and the small panels in the upper right. I'm hoping the flow from one panel to another is clear enough. If not, try reading top to bottom on the first two rows only, the rest of the comic pretty much follows the format we've been using in every other comic. I hope to experiment more aggressively with the format in future comics.

I'm still figuring this webcomic thing out right now. I plan to improve the site over the next couple of weeks as time allows. I don't know if anyone has been reading this comic, but, if you have, and you like what you see, don't keep it a secret. Publicity is always a good thing!

Allow me to welcome you to Fantasy Qwest. I'm the brains behind this project, so to speak. The part you're reading is merely the prologue, so I assure you that Authorman and I will not appear nearly as often in the actual comic. I don't even know if anyone's reading this, but if anyone is, be sure to drop a note at creator@comic.com and tell me EXACTLY what you think of this comic. That's pretty much all I have to say at this point.

Hey, it's goddamn great to finally have a fully functional webcomic. I've been on the team for quite a few years now and seeing our little babies spit out on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday, every week is something I can't put into words. I write most of the jokes and a good deal of the scripts for the comic so if you see something insane or zany in the comic, just think of me. In fact if you think of anything ever, just think of me, it's probably for the best.
