Welcome to number ten in a ongoing series, Backstory Brawl, featuring perhaps the best graphical effort yet done in this comic. My complements once again to Creator for this great artistic creation.

A word of comment on sprite comics in general. Most sprite comics, like Bob and George and 8-Bit Theater, to name the two most prominent, tend to be direct parodies of particular games. What we are doing here at Fantasy Qwest is different. We are using our own original sprites to tell our own original story with our own original characters. Sprites are a great way for the artistically declined like myself to express themselves in a comic format. Additionally, the use of original sprites does not subject us to the perils of copyright law, giving us far more freedom and flexibility to do what we wish with thing that are in all aspects our own creations. We fully intend to take maximum advantage of that freedom and flexibility. Look forward to it.

One other note, I've noticed that Keenspace has been running an ad for Passion.com, an online dating service, on our site. I find that amusing, what with what you might expect the audience to be for a sprite comic.

Hey, would you believe it? I got shot down again! Ep10 Backstory Brawl was not the original title of this very well done comic. The original title was "It Explains Why Their Basketball Sucks". It was scrapped because well... I don't know why. The excuse was that it might offend Seton Hall Alumni and they would destroy the site with their infernal eye-lasers. I wasn't really listening to what he was saying, so that's what I got out of it.

Oh and a bit of advise, don't watch "Altered States" when you can't sleep. It fucks you up bad.
